The focus group gave me feedback about my rough cut. They said that they really like how I’ve used the dip to black transition between some of my scenes, and the parts where one of the characters is walking down the corridor and it flashes black screens. They said that this particular part was really effective and that it makes it really suspenseful. However they did mention how I used this a little too much which sort of detracts from the moment.

 

One of them told me that I needed to have a little longer between the two characters when one is sat in the chair and the other one has a knife as I didn’t have the shots long enough, which made it a little unclear.

 

They all liked the low saturation effect I gave the film as it gave it a dark horror effect and creates a lot of tension throughout the film.
