Plot/narrative
A group of friends hear a story about an abandoned hotel being haunted. So they go and explore it one weekend for themselves, but it all takes a quick turn as they come across someone in the hotel with them.
Everything is fine at the start of the visit, until a random phone rings on the hotel registration desk. One friend answers it, and the person on the other side of the line will be slasher, who then puts the phone down. From this point things start to happen.
3 friends end up getting killed. Apart from two who manage to escape. One friend turns against the others and gets killed after trying to go back to his friends for help, but they of course left him on his own.

Who: serial killer
What: 1 by 1 each character is taken. Who will survive?
Where: abandoned hotel
When: present day
Why: friends want to visit the hotel after hearing a story
How: visit the hotel in my village and look for places to film, plan out scenes.
Mise en scene:
Props: rope, knife, torches, old telephone
Costume: FX wax to make the thriller look as realistic as possible, with some ripped up old clothes. The others will be wearing normal clothing.
Lighting: The film is going to be filmed in a dark environment with a low level of lighting, which will help create suspense for the viewer.
Shot types: close up, zoom, point of view shots, birds eye view, tracking. I’ll be using a tripod for most of my film, although there will be some hand held shots involved.
Representation: In my film I want to represent 16-17 year olds who are still attending college. They will be typical teenagers who like to explore new things. A few of them will represent maturity but the rest will be acting less mature.
